This one of a kind, hand formed pendant is made with 14kt yellow and palladium white gold and is reversible, so that it can be worn with the amethyst at the top or at the bottom. The outer frame of the pendant is made of palladium white gold and has frosted and stipple texturing. On the back of the frame are two reversible double bales which are made with yellow gold. There is one 8mm x 6mm Zambian scalloped emerald cut amethyst set in a yellow gold, four claw, deep one stage basket as well as a 8mm x 6.5mm cabochon cut rectangular opal with a white base set in a yellow gold, four claw, deep one stage basket. Attached to the basket the opal is held in are four yellow gold semi-bezels that each hold a 2.5mm square emerald of intense bright green colour. There is also a sentimental 3mm round native cut emerald set in a bezel behind the amethyst. The yellow gold and some of the stones in this pendant came from reclaimed jewellery and come with fond memories. No matter which way you wear this pendant, it is a reminder of “Risk and Reward”.
